Athens Inn + Mixed Use

Just off the courthouse square in Athens, Texas ‘The Star Tailor’ C.L. Murf built the Athens Inn sometime around 1914. Sometime in the mid 1980’s the last guest checked out. We are excited to be part of the next chapter for this historic building.

The new Athens Inn will be a timeless destination and a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. The hotel will have unique guest rooms, an unforgettable lobby, and will be integrated with the best surrounding local businesses.

The adjoining Prairieville Row concept reimagines an empty commercial building near the courthouse square in Athens, Texas into a welcoming storefront for local business. The project will house local Athens standouts: Atticus & Co. and Tod & Copper.
